about me
Hello, I’m Sophie
I have been practising yoga for over 4 years. Yoga has helped me reconnect with myself and the world around me. I have completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher training with Waking Minds Yoga. I have experience in Vinyasa, Mandala, Ashtanga, and Hatha yoga.
I believe that all threads of yoga will help build a positive relationship with your inner self and your surroundings. My classes will include postures (asana) and breathwork (pranayama). It is my intention to build a safe environment using hands on adjustments and support to help you find a pose or sequence. In my classes you will build strength and heat in the body whilst also finding softness and stability. Everything that happens on the mat can be taken with you to help find confidence and balance in your everyday lives.

HOW TO BOOK A CLASS WITH ME

DYNAMIC VINYASA FLOW
This is an intermediate Dynamic vinyasa flow aimed at anyone who has practised yoga for a while. Working with clear alignment and cues we will build heat in the body working through surya namaskar (Sun salutations) A and B.
We will then work towards a peak posture before coming down to a long and lovely Savasana. This class will help build strength in the body and the mind and have you feeling energised and ready for the rest of your day.

THURSDAYS 8AM
MUM + BABY YOGA
A joyful and calming session allowing you to bond with your baby whilst strengthening and recovering following childbirth.
The class is suitable for mums from six weeks postnatal up until the babies are mobile.
You’ll benefit from gentle toning, stretching and relaxing movement, and enjoy some (relative!) calm in the company of other new mums and babies.
We also sing songs and get the babies’ bodies moving too!
