about me
I have been living and teaching yoga since 1999, slowly maturing with the support of inspirational teachers, and sustained and dedicated practice. Trained in all aspects of yoga in the traditional way in India, and continual advancement in the higher, more subtle Kriya Yoga, mantra and meditation; I bring a broad view, and an ever deepening gratitude for the sophisticated spiritual understanding contained within the system of yoga and its teachings.
I weave together the science, a discerning intuitive eye, and years of experience, which will guide you in your practice and in your daily life. Having the chance to share my insights and all that I have learned along the way and to witness the moments when something really moves for you, and the light goes on, fills me with joy.

HOW TO BOOK A CLASS WITH ME
my class
CLASSICAL HATHA YOGA
People tell me this is the slowest yoga class they’ve been to. For sure, the slower and simpler the class the quieter the mind vibe is at the end. Less has always been more in my experience, and the simpler the better for the very complicated times we live in.
Slow and subtle powerfully influences your energy, with all the calming and uplifting benefits of improved mental efficiency, balanced emotions and flexible strength. If you are tense, tired, or overwhelmed, starting the menopause, retired, or winding down, and seeking an opportunity for a deeper understanding of life and belonging, spaciousness, and the expanded awareness that arises within stillness these friendly mature groups will be a support.
I work seasonally aligned to the principles of Yoga and Ayurveda, and create context with the wisdom and science of the vedas (the ancient texts), which are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago. Practices are progressive and to be safe and effective often have preliminary stages and preparation, so regular attendance is required. These classes are not suitable for casual participation.
Undoubtedly, things crop up and you may need to miss your class now and then. The monthly payment plan includes the option to drop into any class on my timetable, space permitting to ‘catch up’. Regular practice is everything and the essence of all my classes are consistent, making your practice with me fluid.
Booking required. I recommend a monthly standing order for ease with one months notice either way, but you can set payment reminders if you prefer. There are no classes on Bank Holidays, and you haven’t been charged for them.
