As the owner of Warrior & Wild, I believe there's a yoga practice out there that's right for everyone - my mission is to create a space (a yoga home!) that helps connect everyone to theirs.
I like to think of yoga as a way of spending time with yourself - teaching you how to check in with what's actually going on in your body & mind, & then equipping you with the tools you need to act on that.
My classes reflect my own practice with a lot of variety and freedom to play. I don't believe in a universal 'right' way of doing anything & I teach in a relaxed & laid-back way that encourages you to explore what works for you.
I offer clear and straight-forward instruction so you always feel at ease with what you're doing - even when you're working hard! I'm known to gently (& sometimes sneakily!) motivate & challenge my students, helping to build resilience on & off the mat.
As an engineer in a past life, I'm a big fan of appreciating the 'why' behind things - I love sharing this in a way that's easy to understand & actively encourage questions. I can regularly be found nerding out about the body & brain & I balance an intuitive side of yoga with a grounding in the mechanics of how we move, breathe & live.

YOGA MOVE
This practice is your opportunity to get out of your head & back into your body.
The class blends traditional yoga postures with other, more explorative and intuitive movement patterns. There's a real emphasis on discovering how things feel in your body, rather than worrying too much about the shapes you're making or what your practice looks like.
The mellow and mindful pace of practice ensures plenty of freedom to play & explore. We'll also incorporate simple but effective breath awareness practices that will help you to settle both the body & mind.
This the perfect place to start if you're new to yoga, or are looking for a well rounded practice.
Invite in space & awareness & expect to leave with a sense of being able to both move, breathe & think a little more freely.
