about me
As the owner of Warrior & Wild, I believe there's a yoga practice out there that's right for everyone - my mission is to create a space (a yoga home!) that helps connect everyone to theirs.
I like to think of yoga as a way of spending time with yourself - teaching you how to check in with what's actually going on in your body & mind, & then equipping you with the tools you need to act on that.
My classes reflect my own practice with a lot of variety and freedom to play. I don't believe in a universal 'right' way of doing anything & I teach in a relaxed & laid-back way that encourages you to explore what works for you.
I offer clear and straight-forward instruction so you always feel at ease with what you're doing - even when you're working hard! I'm known to gently (& sometimes sneakily!) motivate & challenge my students, helping to build resilience on & off the mat.
As an engineer in a past life, I'm a big fan of appreciating the 'why' behind things - I love sharing this in a way that's easy to understand & actively encourage questions. I can regularly be found nerding out about the body & brain & I balance an intuitive side of yoga with a grounding in the mechanics of how we move, breathe & live.
Leave any expectations at the door, grab a brew & don't be surprised if there's a pooch wandering around the studio!

YOGA MOVE
Get out of your head & back into your body.
This class is a blend of traditional yoga postures & other more creative, intuitive movement patterns, taking your body through the full range it was designed to move in (but that we rarely do day to day!).
The steady pace ensures plenty of freedom to play & explore, using a focus on the body to help chill the mind. It's the perfect place to start if you're new to yoga, or are looking for a well rounded practice.
Invite in space & awareness & expect to leave with a sense of being able to both move, breathe & think a little more freely.
