We're sailing swiftly into our fourth Christmas at Warrior & Wild & which can only mean one thing, it's nearly time for our favourite annual event of the holiday season - our Winter Solstice Wind Down!
It's the tradition that on the solstice 108 sun salutations are practiced, but at such a busy time of year, we prefer to use this time to slow it down, taking the opportunity for relaxation and self-care. In a period that is often filled with social gatherings, endless hours travelling and overindulgence, counter these stresses with some time for nurture and nourishment instead.
During this candlelit practice we'll be taking some gentle movement to release any tensions that have built up in the body over the past year through grounding and stabilising postures. We'll then move onto a series of restorative postures to engage the 'rest and digest' side of your nervous system, preparing the mind and body for a final resting meditation.

No yoga or meditation experience required - this session is open to everyone, though booking is essential. [Please note that due to the popularity of our workshops, there is a 7 day cancellation on all of our workshops & events in order to allow the space to be filled by someone else]
