Studio hire terms & conditions
By confirming the request in writing you acknowledge and confirm that you have understood and agreed to comply with the terms and conditions contained within this document. Please note that completing a booking form does not automatically mean that the booking has been confirmed.
All bookings must be made via the studio hire contact form at warriorandwild.co.uk. Multiple booking dates & times may be made through one form submission, however all fees will then be invoiced as a single transaction, To book & pay hire fees separately for individual dates, please submit individual booking forms.
Advance payment is required to secure all studio bookings at Warrior & Wild. We reserve the right to cancel any booking where payment is not received before the event.
A full invoice is raised as soon as a booking is agreed in writing via email, on receipt of the booking form. A deposit of 25% of the total fee is required to secure the date. The remainder of the fee is due 48 hours before the scheduled booking time.
If cancellation is made with more than 7 days notice of the booking date, a full refund is available (minus an admit fee of 15% of the total amount).
If cancellation is made 1-7 days in advance of the booking date & time, 50% of the total amount on the invoice will be liable.
If cancellation is made within 24 hours of the booking time, the full fee will be liable.
Use of the studio
Noise levels in all studios must be kept to a reasonable level. Please consider local residents when using the studio, particular in summer months if the windows are open.
It is preferred that outdoor shoes are not worn in the main studio where possible; if the space is being hired for a class, please leave all footwear in the pigeon holes in the reception area. If you are hiring the space for a non fitness related session, shoes may be worn but please ensure they are clean prior to entry.
No food may be taken into the studio. Please take care when using open topped drinks containers - there is an electric underfloor heating system filled below the floorboards so all spills must be cleaned up immediately.
You will be liable for any damage caused to the studios. This includes (without any limitation) damage to the studio’s floors, walls, or audio system. You are responsible for informing management immediately if you notice anything unusual in the condition of the studio you are using before commencing your booking.
Our booking policy allows for a short time either side of your booking for the arrival/departure of any students or workshop attendees, though please endeavour to be prompt around your allotted hire times.
Warrior & Wild reserves the right to invoice for any extra time in the studio on the day
The studio is equipped with dual bluetooth speaker system; user guides are available on request in advance. An aux cable is available on request.
Please note that any equipment or furniture must not be moved around the room without permission.
Our studios are suitable for dance and movement practices. Should you intend to bring any extra equipment (eg.. chairs and tables), this must be stated at time of booking.
The building is equipped with Wi-Fi signal and this is accessible through a guest account, the password for which can be found on the modem in reception. Please note this is a free service which is not set up for the purpose of live streaming and there are no guarantees from our part as to its speed and reliability.
Any equipment should be compliant with current guidance & legislation. All electrical items must be PAT tested and flammable objects must be treated with fireproof spray.
Any hire involving photography and video footage must be agreed at the time of booking.
Health & Safety, Best Practice and Public Liability Insurance
You are responsible for ensuring your session is run in line with current health and safety legislation and best practice guidelines. A risk assessment should be carried out in advance and on the day. Warrior & Wild takes no responsibility for the content or health and safety of classes run by external hirers.
The first aid kit is kept at reception.
Due to the stairs on access, Warrior & Wild is not fully accessible for wheelchair users.
All hirers must make themselves familiar with the fire exits and must make sure session participants are briefed on course of action in case of fire.
Warrior & Wild's insurance will only cover defects with the building. We are not liable for and cannot cover loss of your personal property.
Hirers need to have their own insurance to cover any situation involving loss or injury to a member of the public as a result of their own activities.
If a session involves participants who are under the age of 18 or classed as vulnerable adults the hirer is responsible for ensuring that the relevant DBS checks have been obtained.
Hirers are advised not to exceed the recommended studio maximum capacity of 15.
