As the owner of Warrior & Wild, I believe there's a yoga practice out there that's right for everyone - my mission is to create an inviting and authentic space that helps connect everyone to theirs.
I like to think of yoga as a way of spending time with yourself - teaching you how to check in with what's actually going on in your body & mind, & then equipping you with the tools you need to act on that.
My classes reflect my own practice with a lot of variety and freedom to play. I don't believe in a universal 'right' way of doing anything & I teach in a relaxed & laid-back way that encourages you to explore what works for you. I offer clear and straight-forward instruction so you always feel at ease with what you're doing - even when you're working hard! I'm known to gently (& sometimes sneakily!) motivate & challenge my students, helping to build resilience on & off the mat.
As an engineer in a past life, I'm a big fan of appreciating the 'why' behind things - I love sharing this in a way that's easy to understand & actively encourage questions. I can regularly be found nerding out about the body & brain & I balance an intuitive side of yoga with a grounding in the mechanics of how we move, breathe & live.

This practice is your opportunity to get out of your head & back into your body.
The class blends traditional yoga postures with other, more explorative and intuitive movement patterns. There's a real emphasis on discovering how things feel in your body, rather than worrying too much about the shapes you're making or what your practice looks like.
The mellow and mindful pace of practice ensures plenty of freedom to play & explore. We'll also incorporate simple but effective breath awareness practices that will help you to settle both the body & mind.
This the perfect place to start if you're new to yoga, or are looking for a well rounded practice.
Invite in space & awareness & expect to leave with a sense of being able to both move, breathe & think a little more freely.
Suitable for those comfortable getting up + down from the floor

When we learn to move the body in time with the breath, we access that incredible flow state that can slow down the noisy chatter of our brain.
Flow Down is your opportunity to tap straight into that easeful feeling with a creative slow flow sequence that is sandwiched between some super chill floor time at the start & end of the practice.
Each class will open with a grounding relaxation and some gentle breath work, before moving into some mindful, explorative movement that will get you easing into your body slowly. We’ll then take that movement into a slow flow sequence with a number of different variations an option, giving you the opportunity to practice in a soft, more grounded way, or bring a bit of fire & energy into your morning if you’re feeling it!
We'll take it back down to the mat to close, with some longer holds to wind down, before heading into a deep relaxation.
Expect a feel-good slow flow experience which balances awakening movement with mindful awareness, to guide you beautifully into the rest of your day.
As this is a more dynamic practice, it may not be suitable for complete beginners or those managing an injury

This practice is about learning how to connect to, move with and be fully guided by the breath - something that all too often finds itself coming secondary to the movement in yoga.
At the start of each class we’ll spend a little time on some focussed breath work, before using that breath to carry you through an expansive full body flow. The pace of the flow will be a fairly mellow one , but you can still expect to wake up, move and even still challenge the body in all sorts of ways.
Learning to stay consciously connected to the breath as you move the body creates a real sense of steadiness and calm - something that can stay with you long after you’ve finished. This is a great style of practice for anyone who loves the benefits of breathwork or meditation, but struggles with the idea of sitting still or 'doing nothing'. It's one of the reasons I love breath initiated movement so much - it's a brilliantly accessible middle ground.
As with all of my classes, the intensity which you work at is totally in your hands. You’ll have the freedom to make it as soft, strong or as exploratory as you like.
On a physical level, this class will leave you with a feeling of spaciousness and ease, and the practice of staying fully with the breath will bring a whole new level of focus and presence to your mind.
Following the flow, we’ll wind down with some slower, longer holds before closing with some gentle breath practices that will carry you into a final big rest and relaxation.
Throughout the flow portion of the class, we will be moving pretty continuously so if you're brand new to yoga or are currently managing an injury, please pop me a message before signing up so we can have a chat first and ensure this will be a good fit for you.
