New to yoga or keen to interested in taking your practice back to its roots?
This in-depth & informative course will take place over five hour long classes with Warrior & Wild founder & owner, Courtenay.
Yoga 101 is perfect for both beginners and more seasoned yogis who wish to take their practice back to basics.
Many of the fundamentals of yoga will be covered, including the physical postures and alignment, an introduction to breath practice, meditation and relaxation, and an appreciation of some of the history and philosophy of yoga which has shaped modern practice as we know it today. We hope you'll complete the sessions with an enhanced awareness of the many benefits of a regular yoga practice.
Each week will be focus on a different element of the physical practice (asana) allowing you to develop safe foundations in a smaller group.
Use this course as an introduction to a regular practice, or alongside some of the many other classes available through the week.
All mats & equipment are provided, you just need to wear clothes that you are comfortable moving around in.
