A W&W WELLBEING DAY EXPLORING how yoga can influence more than just your muscles
As well as improving physical strength, mobility & flexibility through your muscles & joints, have you ever wondered why you always just feel better after practicing yoga?
This one day wellbeing event with Courtenay consists of asana practices, breath work, mediation & interactive workshop sessions as we take a behind the scenes look at the body's control centres, getting to know more about how & why yoga influences how we feel on both a physiological & psychological level.
Throughout the day we'll be exploring:
- The basics of the nervous system (and why we should care!) - How different kinds of yoga practices impact us in very different ways - The effects of stress on the body & mind - The power of using the breath in returning balance to our nervous system
Arrive any time from 9am for a 9.30am start. The day includes all tea, snacks & a delicious lunch.
Sunday 5th April 9.30am - 5pm
No yoga or meditation experience required - this session is open to everyone, though booking is essential. [Please note that there is a 7 day cancellation on all of our workshops & events in order to allow the space to be filled by someone else if you are no longer able to make it]
