WILD TEENS & TWEENS

Uncertainty and change don’t just impact on the lives of adults, the younger generation are also feeling emotionally overwhelmed at this time. Anxieties, worries about not seeing friends for an unknown amount of time all whilst going through adolescence can lead to an imbalance in the mind, body and home environment. Yoga is highly beneficial for teens as it reduces stress, builds strength, improves mood, rejuvenates the senses through relaxation and enables a smooth transition into adulthood.

Our Wild Teens and Tweens sessions aim to shift mindsets, develop self-love and boost mental wellbeing. Following a positive weekly mantra that will be woven through all sessions, the young adults will build concentration, boost confidence and let go of any worries they may have through breath  work, postures and mindfulness.

Each week, Sharon will provide 2 live classes, alongside Guided Journalling prompts & Mindful Moments to engage & support teens during this  time.

Sharon is a qualified primary teacher and yoga instructor. Her love of children is evident in every class she teaches. With children and adults living in a ‘fast paced’ society with pressures from school/work and modern influences, this is the perfect way to counter balance such pressures whilst spending much needed quality time instilling the foundations for a healthy body, mind and outlook on life.

Live classes

Through the use of breathing techniques, postures & relaxation, these session will give your teen the strategies to cope with everyday pressures whilst finding balance & positivity.
11.15am Every Wednesday & Saturday via Zoom
Can't make the live class? Catch up or simply enjoy the class again with the replay available in the members zone.

Guided journalling

Offering both physical & emotional benefits, guided journalling can provide a safe outlet for teens to express & process their thought & feelings. These guided journalling prompts will use this creative method of self discovery to help further explore the weekly mantra in an insightful & engaging way.

mindful moments

These audio sessions provide an opportunity to take time to slow down & find a moment of stillness, to settle & calm both the mind & body at any time of day.  A combination of meditations & mindful readings, these short sessions will allow the listener to focus and make connections in their own lives.
