STILL In these meditative-based classes we’ll step away from quite so much ‘doing’, as we centre and settle the body and turn our attention to reigning in our overactive, busy brains. Using a combination of breathwork, meditations and visualisations, you can expect to leave these sessions with a clear, de-cluttered mind.
BREATHE Learn to pay attention your breath and discover the incredible impact it can have on how you move, think and feel. These pranayama focussed sessions will open up the lines of communication between your body and your brain as you discover how the breath can be used as a tool to both energise and calm.
REST Soothe both the body and mind and enter a deep state of rest and relaxation through this practice of night time Yoga-nidra or ‘yogic sleep’, a guided meditative practice that encourages deep relaxation as you fall into that blissful state between waking and being asleep.
FEEL Connect to the physical sensations within the body with these softer yin style practices. These classes will use props to support certain parts of the body as you bring about a passive stress (a deep stretch!) into the connective tissues of other areas in a deeper way.
MOVE These practices work at a steadier speed & combine mobility & strength. You will discover different ways of moving & breathing, working with traditional yoga postures as well as encouraging you to take more intuitive, exploratory movement patterns suited to your body.
FLOW Develop strength, endurance & stability through fluid & faster flows. These more physically demanding practices will energise & challenge the body & mind. We recommend having some experience under your belt before joining these classes to ensure you are safe and comfortable.
