Life is busy for mums and daughters and it can be challenging to devote mindful time to your relationship with each other. Yoga can not only induce calm feelings but build confidence and enable young women to feel empowered and move beyond barriers posed by self-image, social media and peer pressure.
This workshop is specifically for mums and their daughters held in our beautiful, peaceful studio; away from the distractions of TV, internet and social media, noise and chaos where mums and daughters can experience connection and laughter, self-development, yoga, mindfulness, breathwork and guided relaxation.
Using postures to tap into the feminine energy, we will nurture our bodies and flow through a lovely yoga sequence, reflecting upon the special relationship between a mother and her daughter. We will create positive affirmations that will empower us on and off our mats and tune into inner calm and harmony through breathwork and a tranquil meditative relaxation that uses organic essential oils as we strengthen that special bond with soft massaging techniques.
This workshop will foster mutual respect, positive communication and trust and will enable both of you to leave with tools and skills to welcome empathy and self-confidence at home.
Aimed at girls aged 10 and above with their mum or female carer.

No yoga or meditation experience required - this session is open to everyone, though booking is essential. [Please note that there is a 7 day cancellation window on all of our workshops & events in order to allow the space to be filled by someone else if you are no longer able to make it.
