It is often the case that we suffer from hip (including sciatica), knee and foot pain as a result of something unresolved in the base chakra. We shall work through problems using meditation and visualisation techniques, specific self massage (with essential oils) and yoga asana. There will be a chance to partake in some homework with food suggestions and base chakra exercises to add into your daily routine.
This is the first of a two-part 'Grounding Series': Grounding, both physically and energetically is so important in today’s fast paced lifestyle where it is harder to switch off than ever. We go on ‘retreats’ and ‘digital detox’s’ to help bring us back to balance but again find ourselves run down and depleted not long afterwards. When we consciously ‘ground’ ourselves we can bring the body back into a state of self retreat and calmness- in essence we give ourselves time to listen to the body and mind. The focus of this 2 part workshop series will be on the ‘Base Chakra’ which relates to self awareness and the adrenal gland (ever heard of ‘adrenal fatigue’!!!?) It is also the area of survival and stability.
Through these workshops, you will gain a guided tour of the chakras but predominately learn ‘Base Chakra’ tools to take home and incorporate into your every day life.
These workshops will be safe spaces where you don't have to feel the pressure to ‘share’ or ‘not share’ past experiences or thoughts.You can attend one or both of the workshops, however there will be a slight development from the 1st workshop through to the 2nd.
