This enjoyable & informative two hour workshop is for expectant mums from 25 weeks & their birthing partner (partner, sister, mum, friend etc). The session will build confidence in your ability to cope with labour together at home or in hospital as well as offering the opportunity to connect with other local pregnant women and partners.
Open to couples beyond 25 weeks, this session will enable you to:
- Use various positions with movement to increase comfort during labour - Breathe through contractions effectively, recognising the techniques which work for you - Practise massage techniques and other touch stimuli to help with the strength of sensations experienced during labour and birth - Reach out to other participants to form a supportive friendship network
For those expecting in June, July or August: Saturday 30th May 10.30am - 12.30pm
The session includes refreshments & a goodie bag to take away.

Gillian qualified as a National Childbirth Trust (NCT) Antenatal Teacher in 2008 and and subsequently took further training in Yoga for Pregnancy and Mother & Baby Yoga & in 2018 went on to complete the Nurturing Birth doula training.
Gillian has practised yoga all of her adult life and it was natural for her to turn to it during each of her own pregnancies: she is passionate about the benefits of yoga in pregnancy, for childbirth and beyond.
