about me
After 12 years in the classroom teaching French, Spanish and Sociology I switched my teaching to yoga, I completed my 200 hours ITT in 2019 at Bristol School of Yoga, in Ashtanga and Yin with Melanie Cooper.
This summer I completed a further 40 hours in Yoga Nidra, with Jennie Wadsten/Yoga Leela and Melanie Cooper. I’m registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
As well as teaching yoga, I’m currently doing an Access to Art and Design course at Stroud College. I have a 10 year old daughter and a 3 year old dog, we live on a boat and like climbing, reading, writing, drawing, and going on road trips to the beach or some other wild water in our Ford Transit stealth camper van.

HOW TO BOOK A CLASS WITH ME

GENTLE/BEGINNERS YOGA
Gentle/beginners’ yoga. A slow flow with lots of modifications offered.
This class aims to welcome anyone new to exercise, new to yoga, and/or who might have some mild mobility issues or other reasons to think that they ‘can’t do’ yoga.
THURSDAYS 8AM
MUM + BABY YOGA
A joyful and calming session allowing you to bond with your baby whilst strengthening and recovering following childbirth.
The class is suitable for mums from six weeks postnatal up until the babies are mobile.
You’ll benefit from gentle toning, stretching and relaxing movement, and enjoy some (relative!) calm in the company of other new mums and babies.
We also sing songs and get the babies’ bodies moving too!
