Sleep is so essential, yet sometimes restful sleep may feel elusive, due to physical tension, emotional factors such as an over active mind and stress. Ease into a restful night with a slowing-down yoga practice.
The focus of this workshop will be to calm your mind and release physical tension. Using a poses and breath, we will activate the parasympathetic nervous system, to help to reduce stress. We will begin with a lunar salutation and move into a combination of Yin and restorative (supported) poses. Throughout the class we will enjoy self massage & will end the session with Yoga Nidra for sleep, a ‘yogic sleep guided meditation’ – the ultimate relaxation for deep sleep. Prepare to head home armed with tips & advice for a blissful nights sleep.
